With ZooParc de Beauval, it’s not about the show “L’amour est dans le pré” (Love is in the Meadow), but rather “Love for Animals “.

We met Jérôme Le Tutour, Group Sales Manager for ZooParc de Beauval, at the IFTM 2026 trade show, and he kindly agreed to an interview. Based in Saint-Aignan-sur-Cher, France, ZooParc de Beauval welcomes millions of visitors both adults and children. Renowned for its zoological park, it offers unique areas for all audiences, including “Bucolia & Les Terres Rouges,” “MonstroZoo,” and many other surprises waiting to be discovered. With carefully chosen nature-inspired themes, the park features immersive settings like the African Savanna and Australia, making visitors feel as though they have traveled to the other side of the world. To cater to younger visitors, Jérôme Le Tutour highlighted the “MonstroZoo” concept; beyond that, the park offers summer water play areas for cooling off, as well as walking paths and various activities to explore across the vast grounds. Accommodation options including hotels and houses are available for booking, and there are shows designed specifically to entertain children, while corporate event spaces are offered for adults.

Like any major park, it features picnic areas, restaurants, and shops where visitors can buy animal plush toys. However, ZooParc de Beauval stands out as the French public’s favorite zoo cherished for its diversity, its dedication to animal welfare, and the opportunity to see animals from around the globe. It attracts more international tourists than other parks, such as the Vincennes Zoo. Ranked the number one zoo, it is an award-winning destination admired by millions of people of all ages; it also draws support from charitable organizations and businesses, which donate nearly €100,000 to back the world-class care provided by the zoo’s staff.

As Jérôme Le Tutour points out, the most moving sight one that truly touched him personally, driven by his love for animals was watching the baby pandas play in the snow during the winter season. These images left such a deep impression on him that they also moved our journalist, Alexandra Willemin, and her cameraman. Yet, there was no time to linger and dry their tears; the interview had to continue to keep the story moving. Jérôme then spoke about the latest births at ZooParc de Beauval, including baby golden monkeys, a baby manatee, and two baby pandas attractions that have driven a significant increase in visitor numbers. Beyond the crowds and wonderful experiences, love takes precedence over mere passion; the human commitment here is rooted in sharing and affection for these animals. This is their home their new home and the staff are their family. For the keepers at ZooParc de Beauval, the priority is ensuring safety, love, food, and exceptional care; this place is far more than just a magical spot it is a true paradise for animals. Seeing them happy brings joy to humans as well; it is the ideal setting for forging bonds with these cherished animal, fostering an environment that maximizes animal welfare. It is precisely for this reason that ZooParc de Beauval has gained international renown as a truly exceptional zoological park.

Bonus :

Finally, our journalist posed an unexpected, lighthearted question following a report from China suggesting that pandas watch pornographic films to stimulate breeding: is there any truth to this? Jérôme Le Tutour responded with astonishment, explaining that at ZooParc de Beauval and indeed throughout France such practices are avoided as a matter of principle, out of respect, and out of love for the animals. After all, an animal is not a toy especially not pandas, which are a protected species internationally. Of course, the question stemmed from that Chinese report, prompting us to consider how animals are treated here in France and at ZooParc de Beauval. We thank Jérôme Le Tutour for answering a question that was both awkward and humorous (and certainly not meant to be taken literally).
